Sennheiser MD 421-II dynamic microphone in ⁠excellent condition. This is a staple workhorse in any recording studio or live rig. Legendary on toms, guitar cabs, bass cabs, brass, and vocals. I've used it for years to record horn parts in my home studio. Only selling because I upgraded to a mic more specific to my needs, and I'm not using this anymore. Last serviced by Sennheiser in 2019.

Original mic clip included. I have slipped a zip tie into the clip to mitigate the design issue where the clip can accidentally let go of the mic. I recommend you keep the zip tie in place! The capsule is clean, output is strong and clear, and the 5-position bass roll-off filter (⁠M⁠ to ⁠S⁠) clicks smoothly through every setting.

Normal minor cosmetic wear from studio use, no dents on the grille (see photos).

Kept strictly in a smoke-free, climate-controlled studio space.
