Up for sale is a highly sought-after, legendary Marantz 2275 Stereophonic Receiver from the golden era of 1970s hi-fi.
This unit is a true "survivor" piece. As shown in the internal photos, the chassis is entirely un-tampered with and 100% factory-original. It contains the original factory-stock Marantz main filter capacitors, untouched board assemblies, and the original Omron speaker protection relay. All black protective metal shielding covers for the FM Front End tuning section and Dolby/Tuner blocks remain firmly intact and have never been carelessly adjusted.
Because it is completely un-restored and has spent its life in stock form, it represents the ideal baseline candidate for an audiophile restoration or recap project. Technicians and collectors know how rare it is to find a 2275 that hasn't been subjected to amateur repair work or sloppy modifications.
Condition Notes:
• Internals: 100% original factory components. The transformer core displays some typical cosmetic surface oxidation/amber weathering on the outer iron casing, but the internal assemblies are clean and intact.
• Tier: Sold strictly "As-Is" / Unrestored. It is a prime candidate for a routine service, cleaning, and recap to bring it back to its legendary factory specifications
