Zildjian 21” K Heavy Ride DISCONTINUED! SMOOTH DARK

This discontinued Zildjian K offers fantastic stick definition and also remains dark! Its cuts super well as well.
And it’s the harder to find 21” size giving it a generous playing field and ever darker, lower tone.
Zildjian described this beauty as:
"Low-pitched. Clear "ping" and tight stick definition."
Short and sweet. What they fail to mention is how DARK this wonderful K 21” is. And that BELL is magnificent. One of the best Zildjian has ever made.
Weighing in at a lovely 3295 grams this 21” delivers SUPERB stick attack -compliments of the heavier constitution. This balanced 10 year old Zildjian yields a Classic K chime-like stick attack that is followed by a warm, LOW pitched and surprisingly DARK wash.
What I particularly dig about this specific 21” is that the stick attack definitely stays ON TOP of the wash - the wash remains controlled and does not eclipse the stick definition--again thanks to the healthier weight. It penetrates a mix without clanking.
Very well-balanced. Combine that with a SOLID BELL and you have one hell of a nice sounding Zildjian K Ride.
And this beauty projects superbly--which is not always easy to find in Zildjians more subtle K series.
Great condition. No issues. Beautiful decade patina naturally built up over time!
Remarkably versatile and no longer made.
