2012 G&L Legacy partscaster. Made in USA.

NECK:

• 2012 from a custom order guitar (link of original ad for full specs https://reverb.com/item/60459007 )
• classic C profile
• 1 5/8" nut
• 12" radius
• unmarked locking tuners

BODY:

• 2012 with a Sales Order number that G&L said was never entered into the books. They thought it was likely an employee build but was definitely built in Fullerton.
• Candy Apple Red
• G&L CLF-100 pickups but wired Strat style with CTS 250k pots (some prefer this setup over the G&L PTB wiring. I prefer the G&L style but did not have 1Meg and 500k pots on hand)
• pickup covers are not G&L marked but I did order the pickups directly from G&L a few years ago

I originally bought what was sold to me as a complete guitar, but the body had the 2012 date on it and the neck was from an earlier year and was a deep V. I sold that neck a while ago and started collecting parts to put a complete Legacy together. The body has some superglue and candy red metal flake touch up spots near the neck pocket (see photos) but overall the paint is pretty good. There are some minor dents and scuffs here and there. I tried to capture every angle in the photos but let me know if you would like me to take any extras of any specific part or area.

Vibrato/Trem arm is not original. It sticks out a good distance from the body at the end. I don't have a bench vise or I'd give it a little bend to make it more comfortable for my style, but it fits well. Try it for yourself and modify as necessary or find an original, or other aftermarket arm for sale (1/4").

Dual Fulcrum Vibrato from a pre-2006 model and requires an imperial 5/64" hex wrench for the set screw.

I just put a set of 9 - 46 RotoSound hybrid strings on it.

I have the action set pretty low at roughly 3/64" and might slightly buzz a bit on the low strings but there is plenty of adjustment left to set it up how you like it, and the truss rod works well.

No case or gig bag included but I will pack it safely with plenty of bubble wrap.
