I have a 2026 USA made Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster here with its factory hard shell case and paperwork.

Conditionally, this guitar looks exceptionally clean, as a 2026 model should.

Per my thorough inspection of it, there are a few tiny little surface line shaped scuff marks near the forearm cutaway area of the guitar. Beyond that, I didn't find any dings or bumps or chips. There is no buckle rash or worming, nor did I find any accumulation of any lower intensity playwear. There is no sheen of guitar pick strumming or any patterns of built up surface swirling. I did not find any shiny glossing spots on the satin finish either.

The neck shaft contour looks and feels excellent. The headstock likewise looks excellent, with nothing to report there. The frets are tall and full, showing no pits or divots. The guitar plays nicely. The original electronics are working perfectly as they should.

This one easily rates a 9.6/10 and grades as excellent. It's about the cleanest black satin matte I have ever seen. I found no notable signs of use whatsoever on this one. It's a great opportunity to find a super clean used one if you were considering buying a new one, as this is a 2026 model. It is structurally and sonically sound and plays and sounds great.

This model has an interesting tone. It has a fairly dense heavy body to give it a bit more thump and low end presence than bolt on guitars usually have. And the active pickups have a clear articulate but meaty tone. when you play with very high gain guitars can become a bit indistinct and muddy. This guitar is a sorta a fix to that. The bolt construction with a maple neck tends to sound a lot snappier and has better note separation than both setneck and net thru guitars. This guitar is all about combining clarity and articulation with heavy tones.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
