Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Hummingbird Reissue – Vintage Cherry Sunburst Up for sale is my Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Hummingbird Reissue, a beautiful recreation of one of Gibson's most iconic acoustic guitars. This guitar has that classic Hummingbird character: warm, woody, and rich in the midrange, with a wonderfully balanced sound that works especially well for strumming and vocal accompaniment. It's a fantastic singer-songwriter guitar, with the unmistakable personality of a great Gibson acoustic. Features include: - Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Hummingbird Reissue - Solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides - Classic Vintage Cherry Sunburst finish - Traditional Hummingbird appointments - LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system - Original hardshell case, in same condition The guitar has been lightly played and well cared for. I've recently installed a fresh set of Martin phosphor bronze strings, which really brought out its warm, natural acoustic character. I'm only considering selling because I've found myself gravitating toward my Martins, and this beautiful guitar simply isn't getting the playing time it deserves.
