I/O Architecture & Signal Path

This mixer combines 8 mono input channels and 4 stereo channels, supported by 12 XMAX Class A solid-state mic preamps (13 including the dedicated Talkback input). Connectivity spans balanced XLR mic inputs on each mono channel, 8 balanced ¼-inch line inputs, 4 unbalanced RCA line inputs, plus dedicated balanced outputs for each of the 4 aux buses and the main stereo bus. The inclusion of +48V phantom power accommodates condenser microphones and active DI boxes without compromise.

Processing & Effects Engine

Built-in dynamics and EQ on every channel—compressors, limiters, gates, phase reverse, high-pass filters, and 3-band semi-parametric EQ—give you surgical control over your mix. Two stereo, 32-bit floating-point effects processors deliver professional delay and reverb, while a 31-band stereo graphic EQ on the main outputs provides final mastering-grade tone shaping. The 16-in/16-out FireWire digital recording interface captures all channels at 24-bit/44.1 kHz and 48 kHz directly to your computer.
