Recently laid off so reluctantly letting go of some spectacular gear. In this case it's the single nicest PRS I've ever come across as someone who has owned over a dozen, including multiple Private Stock, Wood Library and Artist Package builds back when they still did those. Here's your chance at something truly exceptional. Priced to sell and price is firm as a result.

PRS McCarty 594 Private Stock in stunning McCarty Glow

This is a very special build that Paul did with the Private Stock team for his long time friend and associate Dave Rogers, owner of Dave's Guitars.

Dave is a vintage guitar collector with a world famous collection and museum. They have worked closely together for decades and he has provided Paul many original Gibson PAF pickups out of his vintage guitars to allow Paul to, study, measure and analyze them. PRS does exclusive releases through Dave, such as the Brazilian Modern Eagle 1's that the government temporarily seized until paperwork cleared, all 500 of those were bought by Dave's guitars and sold by them.

This guitar was made by the PRS Private Stock team specifically for Dave. PRS builds no better guitar than this.

The materials are highly exotic, while not straying too far from what a vintage 59 Gibson Les Paul should be - maple top, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, etc. The fingerboard is rare Nicaraguan rosewood. African Mahogany body. Truly one of the best private stock tops I've ever seen. Pattern neck profile only available through Private Stock with a Marine finish which I've never seen anywhere else (Natural/Satin feel but protected). Weighs in at a beautiful 7.5lbs, roughly.

This is the best example I've ever found of a vintage inspired 594 from PRS.
