This is my 1967 Gibson Melody Maker D. It’s as player grade as player grade can get.
Bought as a husk, I wanted to build it in the style of Brian Bell’s from Blue Album era Weezer. Nothing on this guitar is original besides the nut, strap buttons, and truss rod cover. Everything else is non-original. It’s been broken, refinished, holes drilled and filled, etc.
I do not have the neck pickup wired at the moment, as it’s just a filler. I do have the pots, caps, and switch go along with it if you do want to wire it up.
If you want to mess around with a vintage Gibson and not feel bad about messing it up, here’s your chance. I’ve gotten what I want out of it, now I want to pass it along to someone else.
Feel free to ask any questions you have on your mind about this guitar.
