Up for sale: A real Fender AVS Reissue Jazz Bass tortoise shell guard! It looks unused and has a truss rod scoop. I'm not sure the exact year this is from BUT, I did once own an '04 AVS Reissue P-Bass and that guard looked exactly like this one does. It's has an overall sort of brownish tint about it. In other words...not bloody red. So, I'm gonna call this an early 2000's item. It's in great shape and has an 11 hole layout...plus the thumb rest and chrome cover holes and mint green back. This could have been lifted off of a Custom Shop bass...I just don't know. All I know is that I raided my own stash and plan to sell off some parts. Email me with any questions. Thank you.
