Gibson MK-35 1975 - 1978 - Natural
This isnt exactly what you think of when you think of a Gibson acoustic. And this one in particular, definitely not what you think of. The MK-35 was an attempt at something different that ultimately failed and was short lived. However having this one 50 years later, it plays and sounds pretty great. I sat and strummed on it for a while, it would make a great guitar for someone looking to get into something vintage without the insane price tag. Condition wise it's really not too bad for the age. No cracks no bad dings in the wood, but definitely aged for 50 years of life. The one factor with this guitar is that the serial flaked off with the finish. Thankfully I have a picture of it that I believe dates it to a '76. Apart from that it's playable and plays well in my opinion. Still I recommend a set up and new strings to your specs upon purchase. Comes in a hardcase that I believe is the original. Thanks for looking!
