I have added some rack space at the bottom on each side of the desk. I would take it down into three sections that would fit easily into a decent-sized van. If you want to transport it in a smaller vehicle, then it would be best to take it apart so you know how to rebuild it.

When taking the unit down, we noticed some minor damage underneath the desk. I have attached an image for transparency.
