KoAloha Ukuleles was founded in 1995 by Alvin Okami. Currently, it is run by a small, elite team of craftsmen, led by his eldest son and president, Alan, and his second son and vice president, Paul. KoAloha has now become one of Hawaii's leading ukulele manufacturers. It is characterized by its modern look, such as the triangular soundhole and crown-designed headstock, and its loud volume that resonates with a clear tone. This is a pineapple-shaped soprano long-neck model. It features a mango body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, the unique "Uni-Brace" internal structure, an ebony headstock veneer, and an abalone headstock logo. Attention to detail is evident in the fingerboard sides, which are designed to prevent fret burrs. By using mango wood for the body, it produces a lighter and airier sound compared to Hawaiian koa wood. The matte finish has a smooth feel. This model has a cute, pineapple-shaped body. A semi-light case is included.
