1986 Gibson Melody Maker w/70s SG Neck Black Refin #71288104

This 1986 Gibson Melody Maker is a one-of-a-kind guitar with a vintage rock and roll spirit. Someone really made this guitar their own, with a '70s SG neck, a Kent Armstrong STH-1 single coil pickup, and black refinish. It's also been refretted, and the nut is new. In other words, this guitar is ready to shred.

In Very Good vintage condition with moderate wear for an instrument of this age, including a few prominent scratches and some small nicks. There's a large gap at the neck-body joint that's covered by the pickguard. The single coil sized body rout and control cavity were expanded, but all the routing is clean. If you have any questions about the condition of this guitar, please feel free to give us a call here at the shop.

Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us to ask any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
