Unique custom-built 1920's Style Ring Spring Dynamic Microphone (hear sample)

Who ever said that Ring/Spring Microphones had to be round! Offering this custom-made and very unique rectangular 1920's style Ring-Spring Dynamic Microphone. The ring itself is made of a very heavy and aged steel, with the microphone head suspended by 6 independent springs. The ring assembly is mounted atop a very cool vintage aluminum base, but also has a standard 5/8" female thread that would allow you to mount this microphone to any other desk stand or floor stand.

Sonically, it has a vintage vibe, but with decent fidelity and clarity, without the noise of those old carbon mics. (Check out the voice sample in the listing video.) This mic really makes a statement...stands 20" tall by 6" wide, and hardwired to a short 3' cable with male XLR plug. Only 3 of these were built, one is already gone, and there will be no others made.
