This is not a museum piece, this is a true vintage player piece. Based on the pot dates and photos from catalogs I believe this is a 1967 Gibson Non Reverse Firebird III. The guitar has seen a lot of action over the years.
In the 70s the neck was snapped from the body and repaired with a bolt on neck plate. Recently I had this repair cleaned up by a local luthier. The neck is now straight and properly repaired. During the neck repair process I also had new frets put on, new tuners, and a music city wrap bridge. Now the guitar plays great and stays in tune. I will include all the original hardware taken off the guitar as well. I have the original short vibrola arm as well.
It’s a cool vintage piece! Shows signs of being on the planet for 59 years. Bumps, dents, scratches, weather checking, all the stuff we pay extra for these days. Already included just for you!
