• High F# Key, Front F
• Tilting Low Bb Mechanism/LH Pinkey Cluster

This instrument has seen only light use and shows only minimal wear.  The instrument is exceptionally clean in all respects.  The original lacquer is pristine and engraving is completely intact and sharp, with no corrosion, flaking or wear. The only notable blemish is a small scratch/ding on the side of the bell.  Otherwise there are only a few normal spots of surface and lacquer wear that are normal for a used instrument.  The pads, bumpers, touch points, and even the nylon tips on adjustment screws appear to excellent, lightly used condition with many miles left to go.  Cosmetically the body of this instrument is a 9+/10.

The instrument has received a full COA that included being fully disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted.  The sax plays perfectly with the even, pure, warm, precision sound that these 52s are known for. It has excellent response across all registers - amazing, easy, altissimo.  The mechanism feels super quick, tight, and light.

The instrument comes with the original, upgraded Yamaha 4C Mouthpiece with a new tooth guard, a Yamaha gold lacquer ligature, and plastic cap, all in excellent, lightly used condition. Also included are the original Yamaha swab, which has been cleaned, and the end plug.

The sax comes in the original Yamaha zippered nylon, water-resistant hard case, with new shoulder strap and zippered accessory pocket  The case is in excellent condition - the exterior shows only minimal surface wear from being stored.  The interior is perfect, clean and odor free. The case is 9/10 cosmetically.

This sax would be perfect for any gigging jazz or classical professional saxophonist, serious student, college undergrad, doubler, or serious amateur. For a Yamaha enthusiast, this is a great example of a very lightly used 52 MK1.

The saxophone will be shipped via Fedex Ground.
