Up for sale is a 1973 Fender Mustang bass neck. Cosmetically, it has checking and nicks on the headstock. Typical wear. Sides and back of neck have light use wear. Fretboard has light use wear for the age. All original except brass nut. Frets themselves have most life left and no notable wear. Unfortunately the truss rod nut is completely slack. As such, the neck was strung and played fine with no dead notes. However, any tightening beyond about 1/4 turn makes it develop a back bow. There is little room to tighten at all.
