Here for sale we have an extraordinary monophonic analogue synthesizer from the late 70s—the Yamaha CS-05!

The smaller one of the Yamaha CS series (excluding the CS01, which was a later addition and completely different in style), this compact synthesizer—that's what CS stands for!—packs a lot of punch in a very stylish package.

One oscillator, two waveforms, noise, a great high pass/band pass/low pass filter, a snappy envelope generator, an LFO (sine/sawtooth/sample & hold) that goes into the audio range, PLUS an external audio input that lets you route signals (guitar, drum machine, you name it) through the VCF or VCA sections—all this combines to offer you flexiblity and a beautiful palette of sounds.

The model for sale is in great working conditions, and includes the original carry bag, which is a beauty in itself!

The chassis shows some signs of wear, but nothing too detrimental. Just look at the pictures and you'll get an idea.

Note: this unit runs on 100 V, but I can include a stepdown transformer if needed.
