2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s in Sixties Cherry, in very good condition with a few small scratches and dings here and there, none of which stand out. Sixties Cherry is one of the best looking finishes in the Standard lineup, a deep translucent red over a figured AA maple top that lets the flame show through without shouting, and it gives the guitar a classic early sixties look. It’s on the lighter side at 8.7 pounds, with a mahogany body and maple cap paired with a mahogany neck in the SlimTaper ’60s profile, which is a faster, flatter feel than the chunkier ’50s carve, on a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Hardware is an ABR-1 Tune-o-matic with an aluminum stopbar and Grover Rotomatic tuners. Electronics are the stock BurstBucker 61R and 61T humbuckers, hand wired with Orange Drop capacitors, giving you that brighter, slightly hotter sixties take on the PAF sound. It’s all original and comes in a black leather hardshell case, not the original Gibson case, in very good condition.
