Selling my Line Audio 8MP preamps from my professional mixing & mastering studio, which I’m closing down. I have two units available. Both were used in a smoke-free, climate-controlled studio and were always rack-mounted.

The 8MP is designed and hand-built in Sweden by Line Audio Design (Roger Jönsson), a small company that makes microphones and preamps in its own workshop. It is known for a very clean, transparent, no-nonsense sound: eight channels of high-quality mic gain with no coloration. Users often compare it with much more expensive transparent preamps, and it is a favourite for classical, acoustic and drum recording where you want the mic to speak for itself.

Condition:
Fully working, all 8 channels pass audio. No cosmetic damage. Honest note: the gain pots on channels 1 and 2 may occasionally crackle when turned. This is typical for pots and goes away with contact cleaner. It does not affect the sound once the gain is set.
