YAMAHA BB5000

The YAMAHA BB5000 has arrived.

As a full-fledged 5-string bass in Yamaha's BB series, this model boasts a unique structure and comprehensive specifications.

Its appeal lies in its natural tone thanks to the passive circuitry and the rich resonance unique to the neck-through construction.

It balances powerful low frequencies with clear response from each string, making it a versatile instrument capable of handling everything from delicate phrases to impactful bass lines.

The body combines alder, maple, and mahogany, while the neck also uses maple and mahogany.

It features a neck-through construction where the neck runs through the center of the body, and the fingerboard uses beautifully striped ebony.

Combining an 860mm scale with 24 frets ensures a wide tonal range.

Equipped with YAMAHA SABS-V and SABB-V pickups, it offers simple operation with one volume, one tone, and a 3-way selector.

The BB-VG bridge and gold hardware demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.

The sound is characterized by a thick, full bass and a clear attack.
The deep tones of the low B string also have definition, allowing for bass lines that firmly support the low end while maintaining the pitch of each string.
The midrange has a rich thickness, and the high frequencies have a tight resonance characteristic of an ebony fingerboard.
When fingerpicked, a calm thickness and natural harmonics stand out, while with stronger picking, a powerful attack comes to the forefront, resulting in an expressive sound.
Taking advantage of the straightforward response unique to passive basses, this instrument faithfully conveys the player's touch.

This model, with its unique wood composition and through-neck construction, explores the possibilities of a 5-string bass.
With the craftsmanship unique to Japanese-made basses and a powerful bass sound, this instrument combines individuality and practicality, making it a must-have for those seeking such quality.
Don't miss this opportunity to acquire one.
