Johnny A Gibson custom shop guitar.

Ebony fretboard, beautiful inlays and multi binding with a flame top.
I put the condition as good but I think it’s far better than good.
The guitar has some scratches I did my best to show them and some light checking on the binding

Plays like a dream

Sustains for days

Stinger in the back of headstock comes standard on this model

Weighs about 6 pounds!

The balance is amazing: 45 degree angle with a strap, with no hands !

Hollow body! And somehow, for me, it never feeds back with fuzz or the heaviest distortion (see the video on how they did this with Johnny A’s specs).

Ebony fretboard

25.5” scale

57 classic pick ups

Original hard shell case.

Unfortunately No COA

Only changes:

NEW bone nut installed 2 months ago by exotic guitars in La

PLEKD—-I didn’t need it, but when I got the bone nut installed they offered it, so got it PLEKD, it plays amazing. And strap locks.
I spent almost $400 on the one nut, Plek and set up

Truss rod shows no threads and moves smoothly , see the pic

(From Google):

  • Body: Starts with a block of mahogany, cut and internally routed to form the sides and supports for a carved figured maple top. It's fully hollow, not semi-hollow. Size and construction are similar to the CS-336, but it has pointed "Florentine" cutaways much closer to a Barney Kessel or Trini Lopez Custom.
  • Neck: One-piece mahogany with the Johnny A. custom rounded neck profile.
  • Fretboard: 22-fret ebony with custom pearl fingerboard and headstock inlays, 12" radius.
  • Scale/nut: 25.5" scale, 1 11/16" nut width.
  • Pickups: Two Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers.
  • Hardware: Gold hardware with a Bigsby B7 tailpiece, vintage tulip tuners.
  • Binding: Multi-ply white/black.
  • Weight: Usually about 6–7 lbs. One 2012 example weighed 6.78 lbs.
  • Common finishes: Ginger and Sunset Glow.

Don't mix it up with the later Johnny A Standard from 2014. That model uses a hollow 336-style body and a solid Indian rosewood fingerboard instead of ebony.

This guitar was cared for in a smoke free home with temp at 71-72, humidity between 45-55 degrees with humidifier and dehumidifier.
