Vintage Sequential Six-Trak, kept in a smoke-free studio and played regularly. It shows its age on the panel and keys, but it works the way it should.
This is Dave Smith's 1984 follow-up to the Prophet-5, and one of the first synths with MIDI. It has six analog voices, each running on a Curtis chip, so it has that classic Sequential sound: warm pads, punchy basses, and leads that sit nicely in a mix. It costs a lot less than a Prophet.
The built-in 6-track sequencer is what makes it fun. You can layer parts track by track right on the keyboard, or stack voices in unison for big, fat mono sounds. There's also an arpeggiator. It's great for writing, for adding vintage analog texture to records, or as a MIDI sound module.
Condition: Works well. Normal cosmetic wear for its age, including some scuffs on the panel and light wear on the keys.
Inherited from original owner.
Smoke-free studio. Ships carefully packed. Feel free to send questions.
