These are Tom Gaugers hand made snare sticks 13A. These are not in the the line for Vic Firth, these are clearly not the machined churned out version either! I bought them in 1971 from Tom (he was the bass drum player for the Boston Symphony). These are great Percussion Ensemble/concert sticks.
ORIGINAL hand made version and *RARE!
Based on my searches this model isn't being churned out by a machine. Looks like if you want the Model 13A this is IT! It is a heavier stick than the 16, these are 16 7/16" long x 5/8" wide to the narrow middle which is 1/4" (for 1 1/2") then back out to 5/8". They balance VERY well, I used these for Percussion Ensemble work where you need a bit more punch.
I am posting a number of sticks and mallets if you want 2 or more items again, let me know and I will work out something on the freight.
