This is a pretty clean v1 JOEMEEK VC1Q channel strip. Unlike the later VC1QCS, this model is transformer-balanced. Aside from some rack rash on the edges this unit is mint and fully functional. This unit has a ton of bang for your buck; the pre has loads of gain, you get a great optical compressor (which can be crazy if you want it to be), a good tone-shaping eq, and as a bonus the enhancer was actually better at the Dolby A trick than I would have expected (with the widest q and not pushing it too hard - but I don't think I ever actually tracked with it).

I initially bought this unit because I like the mid-band a lot on electric guitars, but once I tried the compressor on snare while tracking it became my go-to for years - even over my 1176. Also, it's a fun box if you have a bland signal you want to add some character to.

I'm only selling it because I closed my tracking studio and it's just been sitting around, I'd much rather someone else be getting some use out of it. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
