2004 Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS – Made in Mexico – Excellent Condition

For sale is my 2004 Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS, made in Mexico, featuring a beautiful metallic blue finish, rosewood fingerboard, and versatile HSS pickup configuration.

This guitar has had just two owners before its next owner, including myself, and has a particularly interesting history.

The original owner purchased it new in 2004, played it only a handful of times, and then stored it in a closet for nearly 20 years. I purchased the guitar approximately three years ago, and it has been very well cared for.

Condition:

The guitar is in excellent overall cosmetic condition, especially considering its age. The metallic blue finish retains a beautiful shine, and the neck, headstock, hardware, and pickguard all present very well.

There is one small cosmetic blemish on the body, which I have photographed close-up for full disclosure. Aside from this minor imperfection, the guitar shows very little visible wear.

Features:

• 2004 Fender Standard Stratocaster
• Made in Mexico
• Metallic blue finish
• HSS pickup configuration (two single-coils and one bridge humbucker)
• Rosewood fingerboard
• Maple neck
• Fender-branded sealed tuning machines
• Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge
• Five-way pickup selector
• One volume and two tone controls
• Original-style white pickguard and pickup covers
• Tremolo arm included

The HSS configuration offers classic Stratocaster tones from the neck and middle pickups, along with the fuller, more powerful sound of a bridge humbucker. It's a versatile instrument suited to blues, classic rock, country, and a wide range of other styles.

This is a well-preserved, 22-year-old Mexican-made Fender Stratocaster with an unusually light-use history.

Please review all photographs carefully, including the close-up of the small body blemish. I'm happy to answer questions or provide additional photographs.
