Whether you’re writing at home or performing on stage, the California Deluxe Kingman™ Bass CE is built to keep up. Its acoustic bass body produces deep, naturally resonant low end with surprising clarity and articulation – while the sculpted cutaway keeps the upper register fully accessible for melodic runs and expressive playing. The solid Sitka Spruce top and laminate Mahogany back and sides – reinforced by scalloped X-bracing – produce a tone that’s full, balanced and unmistakably alive. Additional features include: open-gear tuning keys hold your tuning through the longest sets, a Micarta® nut and saddle maximize tonal transfer string to string, and phosphor bronze strings offer rich, full-bodied tone from the first note.
