COMES WITH CASE!
Master Tone knob seems to have a loose internal connection somewhere.
This instrument features a glossy black finish, a traditional tortoiseshell/brown-shell pickguard, a slab rosewood fingerboard, and a classic split-coil pickup configuration. Standardly equipped the Precision Bass with a thick, flat-bottomed Brazilian “slab”. This design replaced the 1950s one-piece maple necks, creating a warmer, mellower, and rounder low-end tone. The neck shape also transitioned during this period into a wider but noticeably slimmer oval “C” profile. It incorporates the foundational single-coil split-coil middle pickup configuration. Reissue variants utilize custom-voiced Pure Vintage ‘60’s Pickups with historically accurate black bobbins to replicate the punchy, iconic thud popularized in early 1960s Motown and rock records. True to the original 1960 specifications, the fretboard face features matte clay dots instead of the brighter pearloid dots that Fender introduced later in 1964.
