The Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Cymbal Stack delivers a distinctive "trash-hat" voice perfect for drummers seeking aggressive, unconventional cymbal textures. This 16" pair features perforated surfaces that eliminate airlock and create a complex, distorted frequency response ideal for metal, industrial, and electronic music applications. The Swiss hole pattern design produces a natural flanging effect with a shimmering, cutting quality that stands out in dense mixes.
Stack these cymbals tightly for a dry, crunchy "chick" sound, or loosen them slightly for a shattering, noisy wash. The thin construction and close interaction between the two cymbals create naturally short sustain and surgical staccato accents that won't cloud your groove. Whether used as a secondary hi-hat or an experimental stack, this cymbal pair offers versatile tonal control and modern sonic character.
