Music Man 25th Anniversary Bass 5 String HSS【USED】[GSB019] 2009

This is a special model manufactured in June 2009 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Ernie Ball Music Man.

It served as the foundation for the subsequent "Reflex" series; however, unlike the regular production models, this commemorative version features a premium top, making it a truly luxurious instrument.

The body construction incorporates a mahogany tone block, paired with an ash back and a quilted maple top.

It features a single-cutaway body—a rarity for Music Man—complemented by elegant binding.

It is equipped with original pickups in an HSS configuration. The control layout includes Volume, Tone (active in passive mode), and a 4-band EQ, along with push-buttons that allow for individual pickup switching (ON/OFF) and an active/passive toggle. In passive mode, the knob adjacent to the Volume control functions as a tone control. By switching off all pickups, you can isolate a single humbucker, and the pickup controls also allow for switching between series and parallel wiring, offering a vast range of tonal possibilities.

Regarding its condition, while there is some minor tarnishing on the hardware and light surface scratches, the instrument remains in beautiful condition with no significant damage that would detract from its appearance.

The neck is in excellent condition, the truss rod functions properly, and the frets are in great shape.

This is an exceptionally rare commemorative model that is seldom seen in Japan.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience it for yourself.
