I kept it in the case but did play it, there is a ding on the back i tried to get in the pic it's about 3mm and in the 2nd pic there is a ding on the edge on the lower left. Read the full description and look at the pictures.

This is used not brand new, but never left my bedroom. I love it and it's one of the most perfect instruments i have ever played in my life but i just don't feel comfortable with it as i am so clumsy and it's so far out of my range for what i need.

This was bought and picked out by me personally here in san Antonio. Every switch knob and tuner work perfect.

The woods for this particular instrument were hand-selected by the ordering dealer from the PRS Private Stock Vault, making it a distinctive, individually specified example of PRS craftsmanship.

The combination of exotic tonewoods, extensive custom inlay work, three humbuckers, and specialized switching makes this a particularly unusual McCarty 594.

Construction and Appointments

The guitar features a beautiful curly maple top in Electric Tiger Glow Smokeburst, complemented by an African mahogany back.

The neck is constructed from curly maple with the PRS Pattern Vintage neck carve and a satin nitro finish.

One of the highlights of this instrument is its Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with curly maple binding, featuring intricate curly maple bird inlays accented with white mother-of-pearl outlines.

The headstock is equally impressive, featuring a Brazilian rosewood veneer, curly maple binding, and a matching Private Stock Eagle inlay with white mother-of-pearl outlining.

These are exceptional appointments, even by Private Stock standards.

Custom Three-Pickup Electronics

This guitar features an unusual three-humbucker configuration, with PRS 58/15 LT pickups in all three positions.

The instrument is equipped with a custom electronics configuration featuring one volume control, one tone control, and two mini switches. First mini does a full split on all 3 pickups, 2nd mini changes between all 3 pickups, off, then all 3 and then neck - middle, it's honestly confusing for me sometimes, reach out to prs if you can't figure it out.

This arrangement provides additional tonal flexibility compared with a conventional two-humbucker McCarty 594.

The 58/15 LT pickups have a vintage-inspired character with excellent clarity, detail, and responsiveness. The guitar is capable of warm clean tones, articulate blues, expressive rock sounds, and excellent note definition.
