Up for sale, a 2018 Danocaster S-Series double-cut aged ‘56-spec guitar in mint conditon, complete with the original hangtag and a Fender Custom shop hardshell case. One of the most celebrated and in-demand builders of the modern era, Dan Strain’s guitars capture the zeitgeist of Fender’s golden age. This very faithful spin on a ‘56 Stratocaster is an homage to Dan’s personal 1956 Strat, with an alder body, soft V neck carve, Raw Vintage steel tremolo block and a set of Bill Lawrence noiseless Strat pickups.

With a clear, balanced natural acoustic quality and plenty of ‘50s Strat bounce and cut, the Bill Lawrence pickups are impeccably detailed, crystal clear, and hum-free, ideal for spanky cleans and rich, textured drive. This Danocaster weighs 7lbs 8oz, professionally set up here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

• Neck: Maple (quartersawn)
• Shape: “Super Soft V”, measuring .880” at 1st fret, .985” at 12th fret
• Fretboard: Maple, 9 1/2” radius, black dot inlay
• Frets: Dunlop 6125 fretwire, no wear
• Scale Length: 25 1/2”
• Nut width: 1.650”
• Tuners: Kluson-style

Body Specs:

• Body: Alder (2pc)
• Pickups: Bill Lawrence
• Controls: Volume, Tone x2, five-way pickup selector
• Hardware: Raw Vintage Synchronized Tremolo (steel block), jack cup
• Plastics: One-ply white pickguard, aged white knobs, switch tip

On the body, the guitar features uniformly aged plastics and hardware, with the rounded pickup cover edges and knob tops synonymous with early Bakelite Strat parts. Aside from the Danocaster's relic treatment on the two-tone nitro lacquer gloss finish, this guitar shows virtually no wear.

A Fender Custom Shop black tolex G&G hardshell case is included, along with the hangtag.
