This is one of the big-box EHX tube studio units from the 2000s. It’s a simple microphone preamp built around tube gain rather than a super-clean modern interface-style preamp.

Controls are straightforward: input gain, output level, phantom power, low cut and phase reverse, with both XLR and 1/4” connections. These units sound great, full and rich, however they have a tendency to be either a little too quiet or TOO LOUD, might take a minute to dial them in, but once you find the sweet spot they sound amazing. A sort of glowing tonal halo that’s hard to get out of anything else. I have a few of these, but figured I should pass one on as I rarely use three of ‘em.

Cosmetically it shows normal age and use, with some light marks and dust, but overall it presents nicely. Tube guard is intact. See photos for condition.
