Dean Michael Amott Tyrant Splatter - Made in Korea, 1/75 Made, Upgraded
Our users rate Reverb
This is one of 75 made in Korea Dean Tyrant Splatter guitars. The key distinction is this is a neck-through, whereas the Chinese Splatter Tyrants are bolt-on.
A bunch of upgrades:
- SD JB / Jazz pickups
- Gotoh Locking Tuners
- Gotoh Tune-O-Matic Bridge
- Switchcraft Jack, Volume pot, and Toggle
- Rerouted output Jack cavity to be on upper horn vs lower (so Jack doesn’t stick into your leg)
- Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut
Absolutely phenomenal guitar. The sustain is unreal and obviously does the death metal thing very well. Parting ways to finance a purchase.
No digs aside from one bump that’s almost not visible on the body, which was cause by routing the body to accommodate the new output jack placement (Hit a knot and it rises up a little).
