My favorite tool for recording direct and completely slays in front of a clean amp. The tubes are actually doing work in this pedal and the compressor is awesome. I have mostly used it for recording bass and clean guitars, but there is more distortion on tap than anyone should ever need. I have lucked into an extra one from a garage sale after years of keepin my eye out for a backup, but it has been very reliable and I can really use the cash so keeping two of them is no longer a possible luxury for me. Damage Control turned into Strymon. Maybe you've heard of them? 😀 Everything is there and works perfectly.
