Up for sale is a fantastic NS Design CR5 Omni Bass (5-string, fretless). This exact bass sells brand new direct from NS Design for $5,319.00 and includes the premium $249.00 Heavy-Duty CR Tripod Stand. I have absolutely loved everything about this wonderful instrument, but I simply find that I don't play it as much as I originally thought I would. It needs to find a new home where someone will appreciate it and play it as much as it deserves!

Condition & Playability

• Overall Rating: Solid Excellent condition.
• Performance: Looks, sounds, and plays wonderfully. The active preamp electronics, piezo/magnetic pickup controls, and tuners all function perfectly.
• Cosmetics: This instrument is in beautiful shape, but it has been gigged with. It has always been meticulously cared for and housed in a smoke-free environment. Because it is crafted from real solid tone woods, there are a few very minor cosmetic dings from normal, careful use. You have to look closely to find them, but I believe in total transparency—I have taken detailed, high-resolution close-up photos to clearly highlight these spots so there are no surprises.

Key Features & Upgrades:

• Scale Length: 34" standard bass scale (combines electric bass muscle with upright tone and feel).
• Pickups / Electronics: Polar™ Piezo Pickup System & EMG™ Magnetic Pickups with active onboard controls for Volume, Mag/Bridge Blend, Pizz/Bow Toggle, Treble, and Bass.
• Control Labels: You will notice I added neat labels next to each knob on the body—five knobs were just a bit too much for me to keep track of on stage during a gig! They are high-quality, residue-free labels, so you can easily peel them right off or keep them on until you get used to what each knob controls.
• Neck: Flame maple body/neck with a smooth ebony fingerboard.

Included Accessories:

• Heavy-Duty CR Performance Tripod Stand ($249 Value): Includes the premium, heavy-duty steel CR Tripod Stand with full height and tilt adjustments. I originally had the cheaper entry-level stand, but found that it just wasn't reliable enough for professional live settings—this Heavy-Duty version provides rock-solid stage stability and complete peace of mind while performing.
• NS Design Boomerang™ Strap System: Includes the official Boomerang strap system with adjustable dual-pivoting support arms, allowing you to wear and play the bass off the stand in virtually any angle or body position.
