Sandberg TM4 SL (SuperLight) – 2022
Up for sale is a fantastic 2022 Sandberg TM4 SL (SuperLight), originally purchased new from UK retailer Bass Direct in 2023.
If you know Sandberg SL models, you know their standout feature: an incredibly lightweight Paulownia body that makes long gigs and rehearsal sessions completely effortless on your back and shoulders. I bought the bass as a result of a bad back, and it was about 1.5 Kg lighter than my Precision bass which allowed pain-free playing.
Specifications:

Condition & Wear:
The bass is in excellent structural and playing condition—truss rod operates smoothly, electronics are 100% functional, and frets show negligible wear.
As is standard for Paulownia wood, the body timber is specialist, extremely resonant, and notably soft. Consequently, the finish shows some cosmetic surface wear, minor indentations, and light gigging marks from normal use (all clearly documented in the close-up photos). There are no cracks or structural issues.
