The “SA2200” we have just received is a semi-acoustic guitar designed to maximize the natural resonance of the wood and showcase its beautiful grain.

The mahogany neck, featuring an ebony fingerboard, is joined to a thin-bodied, approximately 16-inch-wide laminated body via a set-neck construction.

With a nut width of approximately 43mm, the neck’s neutral profile offers a comfortable grip and allows for smooth fingering even in the higher registers.

The elegant headstock features original flowerpot inlays, and the center block is made of spruce, combining the mild sound of a semi-hollow body with excellent responsiveness.

The hardware is unified with gold-plated parts, which complement the beautiful wood grain perfectly, resulting in a look that exudes luxury.

The pickups, which are the heart of the sound, feature original humbucker-type pickups equipped with Alnico V magnets.

Equipped with Yamaha’s traditional “Bysound System” coil tap, you can instantly switch from humbucker to single-coil sound by pulling up the front and rear tone knobs. With a total of eight diverse sound variations, it’s capable of handling a wide range of musical genres.
