About this listing
For your consideration is a Beautiful 2011 Rickenbacker 4003 Electric Bass. This bass has a solid Maple Body in a Gloss Jetglo Finish with White Top-Binding and Pickguard. The Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo bass delivers the unmistakable tone, feel, and visual appeal that have made the 4003 a legendary choice for generations of players. Crafted in the USA it boasts maple neck-thru construction, original Rickenbacker Hi-Gain Single-Coil pickups with VVTT controls and Mono + Ric-O-Sound outputs with a standard RIC Bridge/Tailpiece and Schaller Deluxe tuning machines. The Rickenbacker 4003 offers a punchy low end, articulate mids, and piano-like clarity. The Jetglo finish highlights the beautifully curved and unique body and neck syyling, while the bound rosewood fingerboard with triangle inlays adds timeless vintage style. The bass shows some minor play wear including a couple of cosmetic chips on the headstock and some light surface scratches on the back of the body (As Shown in the photos) but is in nice overall condition for a 15 year old bass. The original Frets and Neck show very little play wear as shown in photos and the truss rods are free for relief adjustments. This bass was recently set up with a medium action and roundwounds. This is a great example of a Rickenbacker 4003 bass, it has the signature Rickenbacker sound and plays nicely. This will come with Original Rickenbacker hardshell case. Some Specs on the Bass:Made In USATwo Rickenbacker Hi-Gain Single-Coil pickupsTwo Tone Controls, Two Volume ControlsThree-Way Pickup SelectorStereo OutputsSingle Ply White Pickguard4003 Chrome BridgeNeck-Through ConstructionMaple and Walnut Neck With Bound Lacquered Rosewood FingerboardTriangle InlaysRickenbacker 2x2 Open Gear Schaller Deluxe tuning machinesWeight: Approx 9lbs 2ozNut Width: 1.61"I try to describe and take photos of any imperfections that I see.
