The measurement mic and the ARC Studio hardware were originally purchased separately, not as a bundle. Therefore, the hardware unit was originally purchased as an ‘Upgrade’ for users that already have the measurement mic and any registered version of the ARC software). All together (hardware, ARC X, and mic), this is a complete system, with everything you need to calibrate your studio monitors.
