Our users rate Reverb
Professional Crown CM-311A headworn condenser vocal microphone with its original beltpack electronics module and Crown-branded molded carrying case.
The CM-311A is one of Crown's most respected stage vocal microphone designs, developed specifically for performers who need hands-free operation, excellent isolation, and exceptional gain before feedback.
Legendary Crown Differoid technology
Unlike conventional headset microphones, the CM-311A uses Crown's proprietary Differoid differential microphone technology to emphasize the performer's voice while reducing surrounding stage noise.
The result is a clear, powerful, focused vocal sound with excellent rejection of nearby instruments and monitors.
An outstanding choice for singing drummers, keyboardists, guitarists, theatrical performers, and energetic frontpersons.

About this model
The Crown CM-311A became a popular professional headset microphone for live performers because it combined hands-free convenience with vocal isolation and feedback resistance normally associated with carefully positioned handheld microphones.
Its wired beltpack configuration is especially convenient for performers who do not need a wireless system.
