Schecter E-1 FR-S Electro Resin Guitar Transparent Blue B-Stock 0499

Schecter E-1 FR-S Electro Resin Guitar Transparent Blue B-Stock 0499

The Schecter E-1 FR-S delivers the iconic Explorer silhouette with ergonomic access that makes extended playing sessions comfortable and effortless. A thin "C"-profile mahogany neck balances grip and fretboard reach across all 24 jumbo frets, while the flamed maple top with resin-filled fractal burns and transparent blue finish creates a visually striking instrument. This B-Stock unit is priced significantly below standard retail—note that it exhibits severe finish cracks in the neck pocket area that are tactilely noticeable, though all electronics and hardware remain fully functional.

Playability & Construction

Built on a resonant mahogany body with a 3-piece mahogany neck, the E-1 features a pale moon ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays and a 12"-16" compound radius for smooth playability across the entire neck. The 25.5" scale length, 41.3mm nut width, and deep insert joint with ultra access design ensure familiar ergonomics and comfortable reach to the highest frets.

Tone & Electronics

A Seymour Duncan '78 bridge pickup with chrome cover delivers classic hot-rodded rock crunch, paired with a Sustainiac neck pickup for harmonic sustain and ambient textures. Two dedicated Sustainiac mini switches and a full complement of volume, tone, and 3-way pickup selector controls provide extensive tonal shaping, supported by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment for the Sustainiac circuit.
