Both the guitar and the case are in excellent condition. I did carve out of the foam space for my thick hand, tool leather guitar strap as the strap would not fit in the pocket underneath the neck. This does not hurt the structural integrity of the case. This guitar is hard to find a case for. This case is specifically designed for this case by Fender. I can't tell you how long it took me to find this thing. The guitar plays really well and I like it, I'm only selling it because I'm trying to down size my guitar inventory
