Schmidt Array SA500 Pedalboard 2026 - Charcoal Stain Wood Finish
Schmidt Array SA500 Pedalboard
I ordered this item from Schmidt Array in mid-September ’26 and it arrived one month later, as they are built to order. In between placing the order and its dispatch, I realised that it was a “surplus to requirements” purchase but then decided to honour the deal and paid for it in full.
So, I’m now selling the pedalboard at a 50% loss.
It’s the smallest form factor pedalboard, which Schmidt Array make and designed to be within the size limit of on-board flight hand luggage.
The unit I’m selling is in their Charcoal Stain finish. It came with their proprietary carrying handle, which is easily removed and replaced using just four screws on the mounting plate. It also comes with an internal IEC cable adaptor.
It was ordered and purchased without a lid (intended for home use only). Schmidt Array pedalboard lids are priced and purchased separately from the lower deck portion of the board.
The last of the 16 images I uploaded is from the Schmidt Array website and shows an example of the number of pedals, which can fit on an SA500 board. This image depicts four quite big (wide) pedals but the board should easily fit five normal size pedals or at a push, maybe six. Total top board length is 496 mm / 19.5 inches.
If transporting the pedalboard is an issue, Schmidt Array sell a dedicated gig bag for their SA500 pedalboards and there are other manufacturers, who sell less expensive gig bags, which will fit the Schmidt Array SA500 such as the Rockboard Professional Gigbag TRES 3.1 available from Thomann.
Obviously, due to the very short time I’ve owned this pedalboard, it is unused but listed as ‘Excellent’ rather than ‘Brand New’ because Reverb’s policy only allows retailers (not private sellers) to describe goods as 'new'.
I originally paid €499 (for the basic board) + €90 (for the custom Charcoal finish) + €66 (for shipping) which adds up to €655 – converted to £563 using the exchange rate at the time. On top of this, I paid £116.71 in import duties, so the total cost of purchasing this Schmidt Array board from Germany to the UK was almost £680. My asking price is exactly half of this (£340). It's a rare opportunity to grab a bespoke pedalboard, for a minimalist pedal arrangement, at a more sober price-point.
For dispatch, the item will be securely packaged in the sturdy box that I received it in. Schmidt Array package their pedalboards very well for shipping. This was the third pedalboard I have bought from them. Delivery will be by DPD courier.
