The Synergy 6505 module is an interchangeable, plug-in tube preamp designed to recreate the brutal high-gain tone and devastating punch of the legendary Peavey 6505 guitar amplifier, which has defined the sound of modern metal, hardcore, and thrash since the 1990s.Its core characteristics include:

• Dual-channel high-gain powerhouse:
• • Rhythm Channel: Covers everything from a pristine clean tone to a heavy, crunchy classic rock bark using the Crunch toggle switch. It also features a Bright switch for extra top-end clarity.
  • Lead Channel: Unleashes the iconic, unrelenting high-gain distortion with tight tracking and massive saturation, perfect for aggressive metal riffs and searing solos.
• Independent shaping controls: Each channel features its own dedicated Pre-Gain (distortion level) and Post-Gain (volume level) knobs, allowing you to seamlessly balance your clean/crunch and high-gain tones.
• Shared global EQ: Incorporates a passive 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) along with global Presence and Resonance controls to precisely sculpt the high-end bite and the massive low-end thump characteristic of the original amp.
• Genuine tube circuitry: Powered by two actual 12AX7 preamp tubes operating at high voltage to ensure the real dynamic response, harmonic complexity, and feel of a genuine high-gain tube head.
• Boutique design collaboration: Designed in official partnership with the original engineers to meticulously copy the specific component values and filtering that made the 6505 a metal icon.
