Fender Pugilist V2 Distortion Pedal

Designed for players who want maximum flexibility from their distortion, the Pugilist V2 features two independent gain engines, each with its own Gain, Tone and Level controls and dedicated footswitch. Engine A provides a brighter, more articulate distortion voice, ideal for lead playing, while Engine B delivers heavier, fuller-bodied gain. Use either engine individually or combine them to create a wide range of powerful, layered tones.

The Path switch is the key to unlocking the Pugilist V2's full potential, offering two Series modes and a Parallel mode. The Series settings stack the distortion circuits to produce cascading gain and harmonically rich saturation, while Parallel mode allows both engines to run alongside one another, blending their individual characteristics for a more defined, balanced sound. Global Bass Boost and Mid Cut switches provide further tonal flexibility, helping you fine-tune the low end and midrange to suit your amplifier and playing style.

Built for modern pedalboards and demanding live use, the Pugilist V2 features switchable true or buffered bypass, top-mounted input and output jacks, and a durable aluminium enclosure. Multiswitch-enabled footswitches offer both momentary and latching operation, while relay-based auto-bypass helps preserve your signal if power is lost. Whether you need punchy rhythm tones, articulate lead distortion or thick, stacked gain, the Fender Pugilist V2 delivers an impressive range of sounds in one compact pedal.
