Bell and Howell Filmosound 179 1950's Conversion with Brown Cab

Made famous by Austen Hooks and Blake Mills, this is a fully converted Bell and Howell amp Filmosound 179. It has been updated with a ClassicTone Power Transformer and sports its original Output transformer - think 5E3 Fender Deluxe in clarity and grind with 12-15 watts of power. It will come with a set of hand-selected vintage tubes. This amp was used by Blake Mills, Taylor Goldsmith, Marcus Mumford, Jon Brion, Brandon Walters (Lord Huron), Keith Richards and various producers and guitar players. It's basically a very special "Deluxe" unlike most anything out there. Fully converted Bell & Howell Filmosound 179 amplifier. This amp sounds incredible, super crunchy tube sound with very tight mids and highs. Perfect for recording that monster guitar sound at a lower volume. The power cord has been updated to a three prong cord and it has a jack for an 8ohm, or 16ohm speaker load. I would highly encourage using a BrownBox or similar voltage reducer to protect this amp from the modern wall voltages. It truly preserves the tone and ensures the life of the components.
