This is how I used it.

my PreSonus StudioLive Series III mixer sent audio over AVB to the LP32 through a single Ethernet cable, and the LP32 passed that audio to Push 3 over ADAT optical. The result is a clean digital path from an AVB mixer or interface straight into Push, with no computer in between. The LP32 has 4 banks of ADAT optical I/O (32 channels at 48 kHz, or 16 channels via SMUX at 96 kHz, and each bank can switch to stereo TOSLink) plus 32 channels of AVB-TSN networking. That makes it an easy way to connect any AVB device, whether PreSonus, MOTU or others, to ADAT-equipped gear like Push.

It also has a full any-to-any matrix router, so you can send any input to any output, split signals and convert between AVB, optical and USB. The built-in 48-input DSP mixer includes reverb, EQ and compression, and everything is controlled from MOTU’s web app on your phone or tablet. On top of that, you get 64 channels of class-compliant USB audio for Mac, PC or iOS, a headphone output, and a sturdy half-rack aluminum case.
