BOSS Black GA-FC EX Expanded Foot Controller 2020 - Black

Meet the BOSS Katana combo amp – made to help you get your ideas in, and out to the world.

This mint new popular professional industry standard BOSS foot controller product makes a great addition for any aspiring beginner intermediate to pro level seasoned guitarist, shredder, music recording producers, songwriter, digital sound design enthusiast, and musicians alike looking to integrate a cutting edge performance and production piece to any studio or live rig setup.

Expanded Floor Control for Select BOSS Amplifiers

The GA-FC EX provides expanded foot control functionality for select BOSS amplifier models. It maintains the simple setup and intuitive workflow of the standard GA-FC while offering additional functions for greater performance flexibility.

More Power and Flexibility

The GA-FC EX builds on the standard GA-FC with several enhanced features. Status LEDs with two colors make it easier to see changes when switching. And along with two dedicated expression pedal jacks, there’s an additional control jack with a three-way mode selector. It allows you to connect a third expression pedal or use the GA-FC EX for expanded applications.

Enhanced Performance Control for Katana Gen 3 and MkII Amps

The mode selector on the GA-FC EX opens up powerful control capabilities with supported Katana Gen 3 and MkII models.

Double Your Footswitches

Set the mode switch to EXPAND and connect an additional GA-FC EX or a standard GA-FC for even more floor control. With twice the footswitches, you have instant access to all memories and effects at once.

Operate Two Amps
If you use two Katana Gen 3 and MkII amps in your setup, FOOT CONTROL 2 mode is for you. Connect one GA-FC EX via two cables to select memories and effects on both amps, either together or independently.

With the GA-FC EX's EXPAND mode, you can connect another GA-FC EX or a standard GA-FC (as shown above) for direct switching of memories and effects on a Katana.

Instantly Switch Between Tonal Presets

With the GA-FC EX connected to your Katana or Roland amp, you can swiftly toggle between all your saved presets to find the perfect tone for any part of a song. The durable footswitches are designed to withstand years of stomping, ensuring reliable switching when you need it most.

Activate Different Effects On the Fly

A quick tap of the GA-FC EX's Effect switch activates or bypasses a variety of effects for the current channel, allowing you to easily customize each preset. Sculpt your tone by adding effects like reverb, delay, modulation or distortion, then save the edited preset to recall later.

Control Your Sound with Expression Pedals

The GA-FC EX features two dedicated expression pedal jacks, giving you hands-free control over effects parameters for a seamless performance experience. Adjust settings like volume, wah or pitch in real time by connecting up to two expression pedals (sold separately). For the ultimate in flexibility, the Exp Pedal 3 mode even allows you to connect a third expression pedal.

Advanced Connectivity for Complex Setups

Running multiple Katana or Roland amps? The GA-FC EX's Foot Control 2 mode offers an easy way to control two amps simultaneously. For an even bigger setup, the Expand mode lets you connect another GA-FC EX/GA-FC foot controller. With advanced connectivity and control options, the GA-FC EX handles the most complex rigs with ease.
